Before And After

Before (Wilson): For God's sake, House! Would it really kill you not to steal my food? You have yours, I have mine. Though I think I might have yours too, considering I paid for them both!

After (Foreman): You're stealing my tomatoes? I thought you didn't like them. ... Well you said so before. ... I know it's my turn to pay tomorrow, now shut up and give me a slice of your apple. Thanks.

Before: Do you really want to force Cuddy to fire you? You have an obligation as an employee to listen to her. And an obligation as a doctor to help people. Besides, some clinic-duty'll do you good.

After: You're running from the clinic again? Just boycott the damn thing. You're not a child nor an idiot, Cuddy can't keep forcing you like this. ... You can't exactly get people skills from dealing with morons. ... Fine, I haven't seen you.

Before: House, you have to be nice to people. No man is an island, and you need to be with others or you're going to end up all alone and even more miserable than you are now. If you want to be happy, try being one of a bigger group for once. The least it will do is not get you sued so much.

After: I'm going out, wanna come? Don't worry, Cameron won't be there, just Chase. ... Well, sorry to say, but Chase considers you his friend. ... You could try being nice, actually. But don't over-do it or he'll have a stroke. So, you coming? ... Great, put your pants on and let's go.

Before: You want another prescription? I just gave you one a few days ago. House, you're taking too much, you'll blow your liver. No. Most of it is probably psychological anyway. ... Oh please, you'll be fine till tomorrow.

After: Another prescription, already? It's climbing again. You think it might be because of the weather? ... I was thinking we could try something stronger till we get it under control. What do you think?

Before:

“I love you.”

A snort, followed by a shake of a brown head.

After:

“I love you.”

“...yeah...” A clearing of a throat, followed by a soft kiss. “Me too.”

He really should thank Wilson for leaving.
